Wie is de ‘Kloecke Vrouw’?
Is zij een grootse held, een vrijheidsstrijder of een idealist?
Een vrouw die goed zichtbaar is voor het oog van de wereld?
Vrouwen die met visie, moed en hoop de wereld voorgoed hebben veranderd?
Waren zij wellicht een voorbeeld voor andere vrouwen?
Of is dat de onzichtbare vrouw, een vrouw op de achtergrond?

Kloecke Vrouwen. Dappere vrouwen uit de geschiedenis. Een zestal kunstenaars van kunstcollectief Arsis is aan de slag gegaan met dit thema en presenteert in de Tuinzaal van stadspaleis Markiezenhof in diverse kunstuitingen hun werk.

In deze zaal tonen zij de strijdbare, zichtbare en onzichtbare vrouwen in de wereld. Schuilt er niet in iedere vrouw een Kloecke Vrouw?

Who is the ‘Kloecke Vrouw’?
Is she a great hero, a freedom fighter, or an idealist?
A woman who is clearly visible to the eye of the world?
Women who, with vision, courage, and hope, have changed the world permanently?
Were they perhaps an example for other women?
Or is she the invisible woman, a woman in the background?

Kloecke Vrouwen. Brave women in history. A group of six artists from the art collective Arsis has taken on this theme and present their work in various artistic expressions in the Garden room of the Markiezenhof city palace.

In this room, they showcase the resilient, visible, and invisible women in the world. Isn't there a ‘Kloecke Vrouw’ in every woman?
